Dot is a full time painter. She has won several regional and national awards for her paintings and has received many honors. Dot has studied all over the US with many of the nation's best and most prominent artists such as Kim English, David Leffel, Robert Johnson, Ray Roberts, William Kalwick, portrait artist Michael Shane Neal, and landscape artists Roger Dale Brown, John Pototschnik and others. She is a juried member of: Oil Painters of America, Landscape Artist International, Mississippi Painter’s Society, and Mississippi Oil Painters Association. Dot teaches classes and art Workshops all over the south.
