Ruben, a surrealist artist, was born in 1964 and raised in the politically violent Buenos Aires, Argentina, He has shown his work in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Berlin, Germany; and in Jerusalem. Ruben’s oil paintings reveal his yearning for a less superficial, less deceptive reality. The forms, dimensions and colors give shape to dreams and nightmares…. Even allude to a notion of hope.
