Working in a variety of materials, Alabama-native Casey Downing Jr. has won more than twenty public commissions for sculpture. His thirty-year career includes dozens of solo and juried exhibitions across the Southeast, as well as Washington D.C., and New York City. Educated at the University of South Alabama and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, he has worked in both figurative and abstract styles in two-and three-dimensions. His work is collected by institutions throughout Alabama.
