“Taking care of our environment, composting, recycling, re-using, and generally being conscious of my carbon footprint has always been a part of my life. When I heard about the Landfillart Project, I was immediately drawn to participate in such a rewarding and profound statement. We, not just Americans, but as inhabitants of the earth; can certainly learn to live in comfort and function without sacrificing beauty or convenience. I love geologics and often use them in my mosaics. Using natural materials in conjunction with the hubcap in this project will hopefully further educate people on the possibilities of being green without compromising artistic expression."Shannon S.
