Liz Johnstone obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Mississippi State University in 2006. She has been painting in watercolors since 1977, and more recently in oils. She previously attended the Haliburton Summer School of Fine Arts, in Ontario, Canada. Liz presently lives in Starkville, Mississippi and works in her studios at home and at Cre8tive Warehouse in Starkville.
“This piece represents the creation of the cosmos from chaos on the outer ring of the hubcap, to earth in the heavens symbolized by the green square within an azure circle, and man represented by the orange pentagram in the center. Thank you for including me in this project.”Liz Johnstone
