Henrik was tutored by Danish painter, Nes Lerpa. He has exhibited his art in galleries and art institutions in various countries, i.e. Denmark, Greece, Germany, and Israel, for over 26 years. He has also curated art events and exhibitions involving a large number of international artists. He lives and works in Copenhagen and Berlin.

“When I was a small child my elder brother was killed by a car. He was 6 years old. The loss and sorrow affected my parents and my childhood, and maybe subconsciously I chose not to own a car... ever. The hubcap represents the potential dangers of life. Painting on its surface is a reaction to this fact. I intend to tell a story in rhythms, forms, and colors, about leaving and coming home again.”Henrik Sandner
