Since 1974, Cynthia is a fine artist, working in mixed media in a surreal style. She has been a family therapist for nearly 20 years. Her interest in the workings of the mind and cultural influences affect how she creates her artwork.
"I have always found it of interest to utilize materials that have a history in my mixed media art. Of course, the idea of turning a landfill object into art appeals to me. I like the idea that I will be a part of global art effort that could actually impact the earth positively. This project challenged me to see a simple object in a completely different way, which will probably have a lasting influence on how I make art in the future."Cynthia M Brody
