Michelle holds a BFA in Visual Communications from Northern Illinois University. She is a self taught artist in designing and producing leaded stained glass windows. When she discovered the limitations of this art form, she began studying glass fusing which appealed to her. She purchased a kiln and began another self taught journey. She has been featured nationally and internationally and she is the featured profile in the January 2009 issue of Glass Craftsman Magazine.
