Pattie started out as an editorial cartoonist for her hometown newspaper while in high school. After attending numerous classes in the San Francisco Bay area, she found herself drawn to shape and space. Pattie attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco, California were she was recruited by K.Q.E.D. as a graphic designer for advertising, set design and on air preparations. Transferring her talent and background into metal over the last few years has been fulfilling.
