Andrzej Szynal

Andrzej was born in Jodlowa, Poland. He completed his Master's Degree at the Akademii Sztuk Pieknych (Academy of Fine Art) in Krakow, Poland. He uses a pointillism technique to execute oil paintings with realistic and abstract themes. Andrzej has received awards for his paintings in Poland and the Fine Arts Fiesta in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He's exhibited his oil paintings in numerous one man shows throughout Europe and participated in group exhibits in Poland and Denmark and Pennsylvania and New York in the United States.
"I have always been interested in painting geometric shapes in an abstract form. The opportunity to use a 'landfill' product which would normally detract from the environment in a piece of art interested me. The hubcap a circle, symbolized an absolute never ending infinity while the labyrinth a quadrant symbolizes the earth and road that we travel."Andrzej Szynal
