Barbara was born in 1953 in Tokyo, Japan and adopted at 18 months and raised in the United States. She is a member of the Florida State University Museum of Arts Artists' League since 1998, and a member of the Cultural Resources Commission, also serving as a Leon County appointed member of the Cultural Space Support Committee. Barbara is an internationally showing artist best known for her iridescent watercolors of Koi Fish.
