Bridget received her Masters of Art Education from Xavier University and her undergraduate degree in Studio Art from New York University. She is an accomplished artist having been published and shown in multiple venues. She is licensed to teach art in the state of Ohio. She volunteers at art studios for artists with disabilities. She believes deeply in the importance of using art in all areas of the educational world.
“Making something beautiful out of something discarded and seen as ugly, is a welcomed challenge for an artist. The unique challenge of a metal canvas which is already a design, is different from the blank paper I usually work with. I did this project to give life to a hubcap seen as no longer needed, hoping that maybe people will think twice about tossing something and using it instead.”Bridget Bobinger
