Boggy Branches

Niceville, Florida

Carol began a serious study of sculpture 25 years ago. She began painting five years after that. Carol has found that the Niceville streams and backwaters are very agreeable subjects for her calling as a painter. She has taken on the moniker of “Boggy Artist.” The artist received best in show at the 2008 Beaux Arts exhibit, and the Okaloosa Regional Airport Exhibit in 2007. She is represented year round at Beverly McNeil’s Gallery, and has works represented at One Water Place and Community Bank all located in Destin, Florida.

“I wanted to participate because: The international scope of the project - The 80/20 rule that [Ken has] posted on the Landfillart [Project] website - The novel idea of paining t‘boggy’ on a hubcap”Carol Ann Cain
