Columbus, Ohio

Concha was born in Bowling Green, Ohio, and is a 14th generation grand daughter of Pocahontas. She is a 1984 graduate of Ohio State University in arts education with an emphasis in art therapy. She also studied at CCAD Expressive Art Therapy, Columbus, Ohio, Community Scholar Denison University Granville, Ohio. Concha is an assistant metal smith (The Arsenal) Cultural Arts Center Linden Metal Smithing Guild founder.
