Debra participated in numerous art courses in college and is currently active as both an advocate and artist in her community. She primarily works in pen and ink, and mosaics. Debra is a member of the South Dakota Plein Air Group and is on the Board of Directors for the Sioux Empire Art Council. She recently completed a commissioned mural for a business located in Nebraska.
"My piece represents how everything from humans, animals, and plant life are all within a delicate balance on earth. This project stressed enlightenment to the fact that many things we toss today will still be there for decades to come!
