Fiona was born and raised in Kenya. She graduated from the Byam Shaw School of Art, London in 1987 with distinction, later gaining a PGCE (Art Teaching) at Exeter University. In addition to teaching art part-time for several years, Fiona has always been developing her art (drawings, paintings, mixed media work and sculptures), exhibiting widely throughout London and Southern England, with collections abroad. Now living in Somerset, Fiona participates in Somerset Art Works Events, runs Art Workshops, and works to private and public commission. Recently awarded the prize of 3d 'Wildlife Artist of the Year '09' by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, Fiona's work is currently represented by the Ginger Fig Gallery, Taunton."help raise environmental and creative awareness the more hope there is for our
