Jean is a 1978 graduate of Wilkes College,Wilkes-Barre, PA. She received a bachelor’s degree in art education with a concentration in ceramics. She considers herself a functional potter and has been studying and working with clay for thirtythree years. For the past twenty-three years, she has taught clay classes at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania.
