A Chicago area native, Marcia received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art and Art education from Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa. After teaching art in Dubuque for three years, she attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb and earned her Master of Arts in Studio art. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the country. It is represented in many corporate, public and private collections. Marcia has also taught numerous art workshops and residencies to people of all ages, many though both the Iowa and Nebraska Arts Councils’ Artist in Schools and Communities programs. Most recently working with the Sheldon Art Museum as the teaching artist for the Sheldon statewide “Particles to Plants” touring exhibition and workshops.
