Nolan was born in Berkeley, California, attended El Camino College, UCLA, Santa Fe Institute for Fine Arts, NM, La Corte Della Miniera, Marche, Italy. She had art residency and fellowships at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts; Montalvo Center for the Arts, CA; and Dorland Mt. Arts Colony, CA. since 1980, Nolan has been exhibiting paintings, drawings and monotypes.
