Robert's intimate knowledge of plants and the gardens that he created as an outgrowth of that knowledge completely inform his more "abstract" work in collage, drawing, painting, and sculpture. He completed two fellowships; one at Ragdale Foundation, Lake Forest, IL and the other at The Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences, Rabun Gap, GA. Robert is an internationally showing artist who has had several solo shows and group exhibitions.
