Shirley is a former co-owner of the Sanford-based Framing 508 Gallery. She was a board member of the Orlando Visual Artists’ League and has been a curator, judge, and volunteer for numerous art projects in the Sanford-Orlando area. Her work has been presented in several shows throughout the Central Florida area including 1st Thursday’s and “The Art of the Motorcycle” at the Orlando Museum of Art. Shirley has studied art at Valencia Community College and Crealde School of Art and has taught drawing classes for children and adults.
