“The current focus in my work is the message and information that materials carry, and their relationship to the forms created; in other words, seeing the beauty these materials posses without any facades. The Landfillart Project has allowed me to explore this idea further. Using the hubcap in the state is was found and incorporating with clay continues the dialog that materials have to form. The information a common hubcap can convey in relationship to other elements, speaks volumes about who we are and where we are going. It has been an honor to be a part of this amazing project.”Skip Sensbach
