Steve is originally from upstate New York, where he began roaming scrap yards while getting a BFA from Cornell University. Steve continues to live and work in New York where he began incorporating nameplates from cars and machines into his painting and photography. He focus is still on continuing to work with discarded machines and outdated technology.
