Sue Sponenberg

Sue has pursued her childhood passion for horses, which still guides her brush today. Educated at the Maryland Institute College of Art, she traveled to Porlock Vale riding school in England, where she earned her Associate Instructor Riding Certificate. Sue returned to teach art at Luzerne County Community College. As a painter, she specializes in fox hunting, racing and portraits. Sue is an associate member of the American Academy of Equine Art. Her work has been spotlighted in several galleries. Her work is collected by many prominent members of the equine sports world.
