Tim received a BFA from State University of New York and a MFA from Pennsylvania State University. He did an apprenticeship with Ryuichi Kakurezaki in Bizen, Japan for two years. Tim has had many solo and group exhibitions nationally.
“I received an invitation to participate via email and thought ‘why not,’ because my work is primarily fired ceramics – I chose to ‘fire’ the hubcap in my kiln. It was placed into a wood fired kiln at 2400˚F and buried in charcoal.”Tim Rowan
