F. Allen Moss received a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and a MFA from the School of the Arts Institute of Chicago in 2001. He describes himself as having a humanist-heart; yet, exists in a consumption and technologically driven world. Thus, his art reflects a strong sense of juxtaposition, dichotomy and a fanciful use of materials.
"My artwork is about recycling the materials of our world; I think it would be a good fit for this project. We humans made them thus they should need no introduction. Rather, I celebrate that the object 'IS' and intimately engage it and it's idiosyncrasies. Through me this engagement creates lyrical...material...MADNESS with a sense of lyrical enlightenment."F Allen Moss
