Jennifer lives in a suburb of Chicago with her husband and two small children. She was a graphic designer for over 15 years, designing packing, product design, in-store marketing, and even some children’s toys. Jennifer creates fabric surface designs through spoonflower.com. She has experimented with quite a few artistic mediums but prefers pen and ink.
“The act of reclaiming discarded items to create art has always intrigued me. However, I felt that the junk yard was for sculptures and installation artists. This project freed me to realize as a doodler, I too could art up some junk. My piece is a subconscious exploration of my day to day.”Jennifer Starchvill
