Kristin has a BA from the University of Alabama and a MFA from Dowling Green State University. Her award winning metalwork has been featured in various publications and exhibited nationally and internationally. Kristin's work utilizes a variety of new and traditional metal smithing techniques which she has been teaching for over 20 years.
"I wanted to participate in the Landfillart Project for several reasons: •the chance to be part of an idea that brings people together for a shared theme of recycle and reuse and creativity •to participated in Landfillart’s mission to include people and artworks from all over the world •to get to lavish an object; make a beautiful piece of recycled, reused, retrofitted, reclaimed, found object, detritus, transition from trash to devotional; to use jewelry/metals traditions and techniques in an unusual manner."Kristin Diener
