Linda Mclaughlin

Lucy In The Sky

Franklin, Tennessee

Linda is a glass artist/jewelry designer. She began with stained and leaded glass, which quickly evolved to fused and dimensional glass. Linda utilize various methods to create her unique pieces, including metalsmithing, forging, chain maille, kiln fusing, chemical fusion, cold working, Patte de Verre, sandblasting, etching, lampworking, and mosaics. Linda’s jewelry pieces are carefully constructed of sterling silver, 14k gold and gold-filled, PMC (fine silver), copper and brass. Semi-precious stones, cold worked and fused dichroic glass cabochons and unusual findings are incorporated into the designs to create unique, timeless works of art to be handed down from generation to generation.

“Who wouldn’t want to be a part of such a noteworthy, historical project? As a ‘sub-group’ participant with the Arts Council of Williamson County, TN, I saw firsthand the enthusiasm and a sense of community that this project ignited between ar5rits. I truly hope this will encourage future reclamation projects.”Linda Mclaughlin
