Nan Wollman

Ms. Wollman has a BFA in ceramics from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia College of Art and a MFA in sculpture from the University of Texas as San Antonio. She has exhibited and won honors for her work in the United States, Canada and New Zealand. Nan is a teacher and a preparator at numerous locations in the Los Angeles area. She is a member of the International Sculpture Center, Arroyo Arts Collective, and Tri-State Sculptors Association.
“I have always recycled materials in my sculpture. I have never used a hubcap as a starting point before. The challenge and pleasure of new materials is always fun. The ‘cars’ can be balanced on the ‘road’ or set in the center circle of the hubcap. Visitors can play with it, but will have to be mindful of the ‘trees.”Nan Wollman
