Tanya studied art in a small town in the Freestate, South Arica. She has a passion for surrealism and expressionism, but mostly forging her own unique style that kept people guessing. Tanya has done pieces for the South African Society of the Blind to be auctioned off for fundraising; as well, as several pieces for independent buyers. She mostly paints for the sheer joy of it.
I chose to do this project mostly because it was so unusual. I love doing art or anything for that matter that is strange also helping the environment in doing so. I wanted to represent my country and all the beauty it holes that is also why I decided to do a piece with all the colours of an African sunset.""Tanya Johnson
